WSR Recycling were invited to detail a solution for Emerald Kalama Chemicals waste management contract in April 2019. Emerald offer a wide spectrum of material solutions that bring value and performance to adhesives, foods, beverages, fragrances, cosmetics, home care, rubber, vinyl, and other consumer and industrial products.
The scope of the project included providing the business with a system to segregate their waste and improve their recycling credentials.
Activities & Services Overview
The main activities of this work included:
WSR Recycling has worked with Emerald since April 2019 and during that time provided them with a sustainable, carbon efficient waste solution. The utilisation of skips and roll on offs has meant waste can be sorted at source, enhancing the value and profile of the business and their environmental profile. On choosing WSR to manage this project, Emerald opted for a waste partner with full ISO and OHSAS accreditation and that shared the same values and principles as theirs on the environment, community and sustainability. WSR implemented a system that reduced the number of container movements, hence reducing carbon footprint. Managed by Amanda Knox, WSR’s Senior Business Development Manager, the contract is a prime example of how WSR can enhance the recycling credentials of businesses within the region.
All works were completed within the allotted timeframe andto the satisfaction of the client.
