We’d like to thank WSR for being a generous sponsor of our Charity Golf Day which took place at Ringway Golf Club on 7th May.  With WSR's support, we were able to raise an incredible £4220, a fantastic achievement by all I’m sure you’ll agree.

Monies raised were presented to a representative from Derian House on 7th May and will be used to support children and their families suffering terminal or life limiting illnesses.  Derian House has an enviable reputation in setting exceptionally high standards in children’s hospice care.  With a catchment area covering the whole of Lancashire and the South Lakes it is currently supporting more than 300 families who have a child or young adult suffering from a life shortening condition, as well as providing bereavement support for a further 200 families.  Derian House receive limited government funding meaning they are reliant on the generosity of its fundraisers.

Given the success of this year's event, it is likely that we will hold a charity golf event again next year, we will of course make contact you as soon as we have further details.

We hope that you enjoyed the event as much as we did, and we thank you once again for your kind generosity, monies received as a result of this event greatly exceeded what we’d anticipated, so once again we thank you.
